Classical Historical Targets Shooting World Championships:

The registration is limited to 330 participants. You will be Pre-registered till registration fee has arrived. When registration fee arrives, your pre-registration is becoming a registration enabling you to participate.  Only the first 330 registered archers are secured to participate on the WHACH 2025 Gyula.

HDH-IAA Historical Rules   On the first 2 days competitors shoot on the qualification ranges on 3 different ranges each with 18 targets (18 classic target faces, 18 hunting targets (3D animals), 18 technical targets). On the 3rd day competitors who accomplished the qualification will shoot. In the semifinal there will be 18 targets (6-6-6 targets chosen from the qualification days). Those competitors who reached the specified level on every qualification day will shoot on the ranking day. The best 6 competitor from each category get into the finals.

• Classical face target range: 3 different distance (1 distance 3round), in 1 round use 6arrow. Total: 9rounds, 54shoots.
• Technical targets range: 18 different targets at different distance, 1 or 3 or 6 arrow /target. Usually use 3 arrows. Total: 18 targets maximum 60 shoots.
• 3D hunting targets range: there are 6 stages with 3 different 3D animal targets at different distance. 1 target/1 shoot. Use 3 arrow. Total: 18 targets, 18 shoots.

HDH-IAA Historical Long Distance Target Shooting Archery  World Championships 

The registration is limited to 168 participants. You will be Pre-registered till registration fee has arrived. When registration fee arrives, your pre-registration is becoming a registration enabling you to participate.  Only the first 168 registered archers are secured to participate on the WHACH 2025 Gyula.

The competition is divided to 2 parts

1. Long Distance Shooting: 35-150 meters, 5 different distance, 7 arrows on each distance in order from the closest to the farthest than back from the farthest to the closest, totally 72 shoots. (no mini and cadet categories)
   2.    The best 6 competitor from each category get into the finals duel. If the number of competitors does not reach 6, it is not necessary to shoot a final, the scores achieved so far determines the ranking. In the final there will be 5 target chosen from the ranking range. Maximum  7 arrows can be shot for each target
   
   For categories of 3 people or less than 3 people, the World Championship title is awarded on the basis of a minimum result:

HDH-IAA Historical Flight Shooting Shooting World Championships 

Flight Shooting: in 5 bows styles with 2 pounds limited (male/female). Maximum 5 arrows in one round. One competitor may compete in as many categories as long as has a valid pre-entry, but maximum 4 different category.

4. Historical bows on 28" length maximum 45#

Category over 51# (unlimited)

National Team Duels (Normal and Long Distance Targets):

 A team of four of the best competitors from a single country or nation selected from individual qualification rounds. Team finals are held after the individual finals.

Rules of Play:

The rules of play of the finals of individual competition apply to the National Team competition with the following exceptions:
As the main rule the National Team shall consist of the 4 archers with the highest combined score in the 3 qualification rounds - with the following rules to be taken into consideration:

a/ Only 1 archer in each National Team may use Hunting Recurve bow. In case several hunting recurve bow archers have the 4 highest scores, the highest scorer joins the team, the other(s) will be replaced by the highest scoring non-hunting recurve archer.
b/ At least 1 member shall be female but there is no limitation to the maximum number of female members.
- Members of each National Team shoot together at the same target - than rotate
- Each archer shoots 1 arrow on each target.
